Royal Coach is a lifesaver!!! Oil light came on 9 miles from our destination in OKI. Stopped at the nearest gas station and added oil. Made it to our house. Oil drained out in driveway. Called AAA since we are from OHIO. They had us contact their preferred shop, James Brown. Very rude! Would not work on our car since we did not have an appointment and said our car was too old to fix. Called back AAA and they recommended Royal Coach. They were very nice and understanding of our situation. They fixed our car so we could safely return to Ohio within a week. Thank you so much Royal Coach!!!

We had car issues on a trip down to the coast that forced us to pull over on the side of the road. Thankfully got it running again and made it safely. I love this place, trust them completely. They have worked on my 2002 Buick many times. I have found them to be fair in their pricing and they are very service oriented and do not hesitate if you need to bring your car back to re-check something, they are very willing to do whatever it takes and I don't worry I am being cheated. I highly recommend them. I am an older widow, they are always very kind and understanding.

I brought my Mini Cooper to Royal Coach for a second opinion. The mechanics checked my car thoroughly and brought me to the lift to explain each aspect of the repairs to me. I had some gaskets leaking oil and instead of replacing the top and bottom, they took the time to replace the top gaskets and degrease the engine so they could really see if the bottom parts needed to be replaced. This process saved me about $700. They earned my trust completely and I will definitely be returning to them for all my car care needs.

I have an 05 Cadillac STS that had a clunking noise in rear end. I decided to take it to Royal Coach before taking it to a Cadillac dealer. the problem was found in a short time along with other items that need attention and service was scheduled as soon as part came in. They also quoted me on a new set of tires to be put on at same time.

I found this service center to be very reasonable on their prices, parts and labor. They are friendly, courteous and will explain everything in detail.They were also good at communicating while vehicle was being worked on.

Took our 2007 Toyota RAV4 there for a bunch of little things they found we're going wrong when I asked them to check it out. Jay and the gang are the best. When I moved to Southport and asked friends where to take my 1965 Olds 442 for service they all said the same thing, Royal Coach. They treat my vehicles as they would their own. No hassle, good value service. It doesn't matter if it's an oil change or restoring a classic Corvette, these are the guys you want handling your car.

I live in central VA and was trying to buy a Chevelle located in Southport. I contacted Royal Coach about taking a look at the car to help me make a decision on if I should make the trip to purchase. I never felt that I could trust an auto repair shop until I moved to Southport 10 years ago and discovered Royal Coach. I've always kept up the routine maintenance and repair work through a dealer. But when I got to Southport there was simply no dealer around and so I took a chance with Jay and his crew. What a blessing these guys are! For the first time in my life I trust a repair shop 100%. n my way to my beach vacation, my alternator decided to die 5 minutes from our destination. We just happened to be right next to Royal Coach as the car quit. They were over and above helpful in quoting, diagnosing and fixing my vehicle. On top of that, they personally got us to our ferry on time. Fixed the car while we were on our vacation and dropped it off at the ferry for us to pick up upon return. I could not have a better opinion of Royal Coach & Motor Works!

My Ford F-150 exhibited rattling noises which the Ford dealer was unable to diagnose and fix. Royal Coach diagnosed the problem, explained the fix, it's cost and the work time involved. They touched base whenever there was a parts issue or change to the job scope. The work was completed on time and I enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend Royal Coach & Motor Works.

Stopped in to see if they would check the air pressure in my tires as my wife was leaving town the next day on a long drive and I just had a low tire pressure message light up. The ladies in the office were clearly very busy juggling phone calls and the several people in front of me in line. They managed to get to my question quickly, told me to pull my car to the side of the building where a very nice guy was waiting on me. Problem solved and a weight off. As I have managed a few large service departments in my career, I know this is a "no charge" accommodation but I commend them for quick and friendly service. They have earned our business with two cars!

I own a BMW 525i. I need repair work on a leaking fluid. My neighbor recommended Royal Coach and Motor Works, where he has had three BMWs worked on.

My experience was nothing short of terrific. Everyone there was courteous, honest and competent. The repair was relatively simple and affordable. This was a huge relief to me as another estimate I received suggested major and costly repairs.

Very pleased with this place. We were 250 miles from home on vacation. Our minivan was in very bad shape out of the blue. It definitely was not going to make it back home with the wife and two girls. They were booked until the middle of the next week. The lady at the desk talked with the shop and squeezed us in. They fixed it up in about an hour, and the cost was about $110. It was a big relief and two weeks later the van is still running like new. I highly recommend.
