Royal Coach & Motor Works was born out of one man's love of street racing, and today the family-owned business works hard to make auto repair a hassle-free part of life for their many friends and clients in Brunswick County. Our business is built on word-of-mouth referrals sourced from excellent customer service. We take the time to explain repairs to all of our customers, and if you still don't understand why something needs done, we will sit down and explain it to you again.

Owner Jay Royal grew up helping his father categorize parts for street racing, a hobby he soon adopted on his own as well. However, he realized that racing alone was not going to get him the life he wanted, so he learned auto repair and opened the doors to his own shop once the opportunity arose. In 1992 he remarried after meeting Kelly, who would soon share his vision for a friendly auto repair shop and today customers can count on chatting with her at the front desk on most days.
